I love chocolate. I love art. I appreciate beauty and also want future generations to experience that to the full. The sustainable message of artist William Sweetlove therefore resonated with me.

Art and chocolate have more in common that you might think. The manufacture and reworking of chocolate is a delicate skill that combines passion, know-how and highly-sophisticated techniques. The raw material evokes a sensory experience, in much the same way as a special painting or unique sculpture would.

Analogous to an artist who has perfect dimensions and an inspiring colour palette in mind, I experiment daily – as a baker, pastrycook and confectioner – with different favours, textures and shapes. The pursuit of perfection and Sweetlove’s dedication are dear to my heart. The chocolate figure that you now hold, is the result of numerous inspiring and mind-expanding brainstorming sessions, that I look back on with great pleasure.
